What is the e-skills internship scheme?

The e-skills internship is a unique programme which aims to boost your employability. Defined by employers and universities across the UK, you will follow a set of best practices and learning outcomes to maximise your employability skills. In recognition, you will be awarded an employer-endorsed national certificate, adding real value to your internship.

Most existing placements can be ‘upgraded’ to an e-skills internship simply by registering on this site. Once you’ve given us your details we’ll invite your employer to join and we’ll help ensure you achieve the learning outcomes. Almost certainly your university is already participating; if not, we’ll talk with them too.

Once registered you complete the monthly work summaries in consultation with your line manager.
